Vintage National Ukulele Style 2 made in 1928. This ukulele has the rose pattern engravings being called the wild rose pattern. Pancake Grover style tuners that are original to the the ukulele also. These National ukuleles are some of the most exceptional ukes in my opinion having beautiful engraving work around the metal body. Metal does show slight pitting around the body which is very common for such an old piece especially made out of all metal. There are a few small pings in the back I tried to get pictures of but are very hard to see u less looked at a certain way in the light. Back of the neck does show play wear spots along with weather checking, small chip out of the wood at the top of the headstock also. One small ding on the front along with the serial number on the bottom of this ukulele but over all this is an extraordinary piece. Any one that follows ukuleles knows just how rare these vintage nationals can be especially the ones with engravings. Original Hardshell case is included in the sale also.
