Vintage Gibson Style 2 Mahogany Ukulele. This ukulele dates between 1942 to 1947 as there is a serial number inside the sound hole but is hard to date to an exact year. Ukulele has front binding 5 ply and 3 ply on the back binding. There is one crack at the end of the fingerboard on the top but other than that this Uke is very clean. This piece does show your typical play wear with a few small pings and dings but nothing that doesn’t add character to this ukulele. I believe this piece to be a special order as the Gibson Style 2 ukuleles were discontinued after 1937. Noe original soft shell case is included in the sale.
