Vintage Fender Jazz Bass made in 1964 featuring L serial number. This bass is a true beauty with the flame on the back of the neck to go along with the bass being all original. Original clay dots in the fretboard with the frets showing some wear but still having plenty of life left to them. Very clean sunburst finish with the one exception to this bass being so clean is that someone appeared to have had a body glove around the bass for some part of its life. This body glove was basically a protective cover that went over the bass to protect the finish but unfortunately the outside lining did leave a ring around black part of the finish as noted in the pictures. Other than this protective ring issue this is a stunningly clean example of an early 60’s J Bass even having the original case candy to go along with the sale with case. Original warranty card with matching serial number, original Fender strap along with cord is included. Note the tape at the top of the case candy picture “7 Oct 64 A” is what’s stamped on the neck heel.
