Vintage Kumalae style 1 ukulele made in the 1920’s. This ukulele is made out of Koa wood that was very typical of ukes during this time period. Also this has one of the very early Kumalae Gold Awards decals on the headstock being one of the very early versions from Kumalae. Ukulele shows some significant play wear from over the years starting with one crack on the top right below the neck that goes down to the sound hole. There is also two cracks below the bridge that go to the bottom that I did my best to get pictures of. Top has binding is showing slight cracks wear it is lifting from over the years as well as other places around the body. The back has one long crack from pretty much the top to bottom along with a smaller crack beside it. For ukuleles being over 100 years of age these are all typical in today’s age but still is a great vintage piece with a good tone. Item will ship in the chip board case but I will pack accordingly to make sure it arrives safe and sound.
