Vintage Echo ukulele made in the 1920’s. Ukulele is made out of koa, unusual cut of koa compared to a lot of others I have seen giving it a true beauty. Echo made ukulele in Hawaii 1920’s being known for fairly good quality. The rope binding around the body, sound hole and up the neck make this even more spectacular. Body is 2 11/16 inch thick compared to other small body ukuleles. The bottom of the ukulele has taken a fall at some point with the side crack. Bottom of the uke is still an open crack but can be fixed. Other than the bottom fall there is one top crack, two back cracks on this ukulele. One tuning peg has been changed along with a chip on the back of the headstock on the top back corner. Even with these issues the koa wood of this ukulele, bigger body make this an amazing piece.
