Vintage M Nunes Hawaiian ukulele made in the late 1900 teens to early 1920’s. The M Nunes is made from koa while also having the label inside saying “ Made expressly for Frank J Hart Southern California Music Company along with the M Nunes backs ground at the bottom part of the label. Headstock logo is fully intact for the most part which commonly these would chip off over the years. This M Nunes Uke has one solid back crack three to four inches long. Banjo tuners are newer to the Uke than the original ones that were there. Three sound hole rings but not the rope binding type which other M Nunes ukes have that I’ve seen in the past. Body does show signs of play wear from your typical pings and dings from over the years. Bridge looks to have been regaled at some point in the ukes life also. Very cool old original piece of history here to say the least with a great sound! Piece will ship in a gig bag but be packed accordingly.
